The Sacred Scream ~ An immersive workshop for women.

Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 ~ 1-3:30 pm (click here to sign up)

In a world that often asks women to stay quiet, "The Sacred Scream" invites you to do the opposite. This 2.5-hour immersive workshop led by Raylean Fetterman and Jodi Targon is a brave container for women to express, release, and transform the emotions they've been taught to hide.

Have you spent your life being kind, responsible, and good. Keeping the peace. Making sure everyone else is okay. And now something inside you is cracking, not because you are broken, but because there is more truth in you than you've shared or even allowed yourself to see?

Do your days end with numbing...a show, a glass of wine, a hit, a scroll through your phone...only you wake up the next day still tired, still heavy?

This space is a chance to be with yourself honestly in community. Here, you get to release and let go of the story. You don’t need to explain anything. You don’t need to be fixed.

You'll experience music, movement, breath, and sacred practices designed to dislodge stuck energy.  You'll have the space to scream, not in chaos, but in sacred release, held in community; a brave container to release what your mind can't solve.  You don't have to know how.  You don't have to feel ready.  You just have to come.

You will leave feeling lighter, with a deeper connection to your breath, body, and truth.

Early Bird pricing is $44. Regular pricing is $55. We never want price to be a barrier, so if this offering speaks to, and you need financial assistance, please reach out to Andrea at andrea@rootnrisecommunity.com. Your presence is enough.

Community Reading Circle

Sundays ~ 10:30 - 11:45 am, 6 Sessions: 2/15, 3/1, 3/15, 3/22, 4/12, & 4/26

Our Community Reading Circle, facilitated by Andrea Danneker, is a slow, spacious reading circle for people interested in personal growth, self-reflection, and how we show up with ourselves and one another, especially across difference.

Over six (6) gatherings, we'll read Fierce Vulnerability by Kazu Haga, a book that offers a profound invitation to personal and collective awakening in response to our unraveling world. We will read small sections at a time and come together to reflect, listen, and speak from our own lived experiences.

This is not a book club where we rush to finish chapters or sound smart.  It is not a debate space, therapy group, or place to persuade others.  It's an opportunity to practice presence, honesty, and care in community.

All perspectives are welcome. You don't need to have the "right" insights. Sharing is always optional, never mandatory.  Silence is welcome, too.

This circle is for you if you're craving deeper self-trust, more authentic connection, and a space to soften without collapsing. You just need a willingness to read a book and arrive honestly.

Format:

Each session will follow a steady rhythm: grounding, a short check-in round, a brief reading highlighting something from the last reading assignment, inner reflection, open sharing, and closing.  The intention is to create a consistent, respectful container rather than a traditional "book club" discussion.

Come as you are. Read what you can. Let the rest unfold in community.

Andrea is the heart behind Root & Rise, where her passion for wellness, connection, and community comes to life. With a background in psychology, education, human development, and a range of certifications in yoga, meditation, and coaching, she brings both depth and compassion to the way she supports others. Her own journey through mental health challenges and physical pain led her to yoga and meditation; practices that ground her, expand her presence, and continue to teach her about healing and authentic living. Beyond the studio, Andrea is a mom of three, partner to her best friend, and someone who finds joy in dancing, laughter, and time in nature.

There is no charge to participate in our Community Reading Circle. If this offering brings value to your life, you are welcome to donate at the door. Your generosity, in any amount, is greatly appreciated to help sustain the space and make wellness practices accessible to all.

Participants are required to purchase and bring their own book. You can purchase it HERE.

Dress for comfort. Some chairs are available and saved for those who need them. Be prepared to sit on the floor. There are a number of bolsters and blankets available to use for comfort. Water, tea, coffee, and light snacks are available. Bring a journal for self-reflection.

We will welcome as many people as we can fit in the room.
